WHAT THIS IS NOT...

This is not trauma treatment

My approach is trauma-informed. We can appreciate that past experiences help shape core values, preferences, and behavioral tendencies. However, mindfulness-based counseling offers more access to present moment-experiences of the mind and body. This work allows you to slow down, examine your thoughts and beliefs, and use your body to regulate anxiety and intense emotions that stand in the way of your goals. We will focus less on how you got here and more on what to do next.

You are not here to self-pathologize

If you identify with any of the following labels you have come to the right place:

*people-pleaser

*abandonment-issues

*jealousy issues

*codependent

*anxious attachment

etc...

These are the damaging labels that modern psychotherapy sometimes projects onto to Women and identifying with them can lead to an endless loop of therapy without any real solutions.
